Energy Star® is more than a label awarded for energy efficiency. It is a partnership among government, business, and consumers, united in the pursuit of a common goal—to protect our environment for future generations.
Energy Star® has become a powerful platform for improving the environment through energy efficiency. Last year alone, with the help of ENERGY STAR, Americans saved the energy required to power 15 million homes and reduced air pollution equivalent to taking 14 million cars off the road—all this while saving $7 billion on energy bills. Through Energy Star®, we have successfully educated our partners and the consumer marketplace that energy efficiency does not sacrifice the features, style, or the comfort that today's consumers expect. But there is much more to do. There are many more Americans to make aware of the power they have when they make choices for their homes and many more businesses to show that what is good for the environment is also good for the bottom line.

Insulation Contractors Association of California
The Insulation Contractors of California is active in construction standard, lobbying efforts and quality programs to maintain high integrity in the insulation industry. Synergy is an active member of the Executive Committee for ICA.
Synergy is an active member of NAESCO sitting on their National Board of DIrectors. The National Association of Energy Service Companies is a national trade association which has been promoting the benefits of the widespread use of energy efficiency for over 25 years. On behalf of its membership, NAESCO works to help open new markets for energy services by directly promoting the value of demand reduction to customers through seminars, workshops, training programs, publication of case studies and guidebooks, and the compilation and dissemination of aggregate industry data.
NAESCO is proud of its leadership role in devising innovative policies for a changing marketplace. NAESCO represents every facet of the energy services industry and is the industry's advocate for the cost effective delivery of comprehensive energy services to all customer classes. NAESCO strongly promotes the benefits of distributed resources, including energy efficiency, in an evolving market. In order to ensure industry quality, NAESCO sponsors a rigorous accreditation program for ESCOs, Energy Service Providers and Energy Efficiency Contractors to recognize capabilities and experience. The Association places a high priority on making the Association a home for the broadest spectrum of market participants including generation and distribution companies and distributed generation project developers. NAESCO also brings together energy service providers from around the world to facilitate market opportunities.
Synergy is actively involved with the efforts of EGIA. The Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions through the home improvement and renewable energy industries.
EGIA serves a rapidly-growing nationwide network of over 2,500 installation contractors, regional distributors, product manufacturers and other trade allies delivering energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions to millions of homes and businesses. EGIA is also a recognized leader in delivering sponsored demand management and resource efficiency services on behalf of electric, gas, water utilities and municipalities. EGIA services include financing, rebate program administration and rebate processing; contractor network management, training and certification; and sales channel development and support.
Synergy is an active member of IHACI. The Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries, Inc., is a non-profit trade association of contractors, manufacturers, distributors, utility firms, and related businesses actively engaged in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sheet metal industries.
Formally incorporated in 1948, IHACI remains a progressive association dedicated to the education, promotion, and growth of our industry.
Through membership involvement and participation, and adherence to the IHACI Code of Ethics, the association is able to render a myriad of services and benefits to its participating members.
Synergy is an active member of SNARSCA. Southern Nevada Air Conditioning Refrigeration Service Contractors Association is a trade group dedicated to the education and support of HVAC service contractors. SNARSCA is actively involved in the community through Mission Cool-Off, education through scholarships at CSN (College of Southern Nevada), and legal issues through the Subcontractors Legislative Coalition.
Synergy is an active member of BPI. BPI believes there is a need for a highly trained, skilled and professionalized residential energy efficiency retrofit and weatherization workforce.
We are a leading developer of technical standards for home performance and weatherization retrofit work that are recognized across North America. From these standards, we’ve developed training programs, professional credentialing for individuals and company accreditations – including quality assurance programs – that help raise the bar in home performance contracting.
As an independent, not-for-profit organization, we help to create sustainable, green-collar jobs in local communities – jobs that cannot be exported – while helping to improve the comfort, health, safety, durability and energy efficiency of America’s existing houses.
